Check the dog, then the bag.
Use your dog’s current weight rather than a breed estimate. The chart lists the brand’s five size bands; only Extra Small, Small and Extra Large are in our current Fish & Egg selection.
At a boundary or between the printed bands, do not guess or substitute a different size. Check the current package and ask your veterinarian. Puppies, dogs with dental discomfort and dogs on prescribed diets need individual guidance.
Make chew time a supervised moment.
Follow the bag’s feeding directions, offer fresh water and stay with your dog while they chew. Do not use a smaller treat or cut up a larger one to make an unlisted size. Stop feeding and contact your veterinarian if chewing appears uncomfortable.
